Warehouse OperationsIntermec wireless handheld and vehicle mounted computers with tethered or Bluetooth-enabled scanners, in concert with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), take the guesswork out of order picking and putaways. Intermec solutions eliminate misplaced inventory and product "honeycombing" by delivering accurate putaway instructions directly to the worker, with automatic WMS system verification. With Intermec solutions, companies always know where their goods are, how many they have and in what condition.

Intermec's solutions are engineered from the ground up to deliver, even in the most demanding environments. Machine operators no longer have to travel to other locations to report activities, and labor hours can be captured at the same time that work in process (WIP) activity is being reported. Intermec handhelds can even integrate an internally generated date and time stamp with a badge scanner for capturing employee data. Available in wired and wireless solutions with modular components, Intermec's solutions can be augmented with interfaces for different manufacturing and warehousing environments, or deployed as part of a complete WMS or ERP execution system.
